AttenYo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our attendance management platform and services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name and contact information of account administrators
  • Email addresses
  • Company name and details
  • Phone numbers (optional)
  • Billing and payment information

Employee Data (provided by Customer)

  • Employee names
  • Employee identification numbers
  • Department and position information
  • Work schedules and shift assignments
  • Attendance records and time data
  • Biometric device user IDs (not biometric data itself)

Device Data

  • Attendance device serial numbers
  • Device IP addresses
  • Device locations (as configured by Customer)
  • Punch timestamps and records

Biometric Data & Hardware Integration

AttenYo provides native integration with biometric devices (such as ZKTeco attendance machines). We do not store or process raw biometric templates (fingerprint images or facial maps) on our servers. The biometric data remains on the hardware device. We only receive and store identification numbers assigned by the Customer to the hardware for attendance tracking purposes.

Customer Responsibility: The Customer (the Employer) is solely responsible for compliance with applicable biometric data laws, including providing notice to employees and obtaining necessary consents before using biometric features.

Data Processing Roles

AttenYo acts as a Data Processor on behalf of our Customers (the Data Controllers). We process Employee Data only as directed by the Customer and in accordance with these Terms and applicable data protection laws.

  • To provide and maintain our Services
  • To process attendance data and generate reports
  • To communicate with you about your account and our Services
  • To improve and develop new features
  • To detect and prevent fraud and security issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in providing our Services (hosting, analytics, support)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to respond to legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Consent: When you have given explicit consent to share information

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Regular security monitoring and assessments
  • Secure data backup and recovery procedures

5. Data Retention

We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. After account termination, we retain data for 30 days to allow for export, then securely delete it unless retention is required by law.

6. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising out of or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. AttenYo is a company incorporated in Wyoming, USA, and any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
